Senior Ranger

The Shire of Halls Creek seeks applications from suitable qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Senior Ranger closing on 22 February 2019.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Director Health and Regulatory Services. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the regulatory function and educational programs and working with the community members to build a shared commitment to legislative provisions to protect and enhance the health of both, residents and their pets.

To be considered for this role, you must have Municipal Law A and B or equivalent, A WA C Class drivers licence, dog health qualifications and experience, be aware of Aboriginal culture and be able to work semi-autonomously. 

The Shire is offering an attractive remuneration package of up to $118,714, which includes a generous cash salary, up to 14.5% superannuation, subsidised furnished housing, ADSL connection to the house, a generous phone, water and power subsidy and a work vehicle.
